State Fair 2006
This was one of the winning designs for the 2006 NC State Fair under the theme of "Feed Your Senses". I placed in the
category of Open Competition, Age 18+, and was awarded with a ribbon and certificate for my efforts, as well as a fancy
star to add to my resume. ;)
My intention was to create a fun, playful design that was still elegant enough to break the misconception that the fair
is a backwards, 'hick' event, or for those who had nothing better to do that week.It is coded in tables with CSS elements
to sharpen the design. All the other pages that won in this competition were orange - (odd, huh?) - and all the graphics/
text were much larger. This site went through one major design revision before the final.
