I've had a lot of practice with graphic design. I was in the Advertising and Graphic Design program at Wake Tech for four years, concurrently with the Web Technologies program. I have worked extensively with Adobe Photoshop, as well as with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Image Ready, Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver, and Flash. The work shown here is only a small portion of the work in my repertoire, but it gives a good example of what I can do, and have done in the past.
Tutorials: Design Principles
The subsection entitled "Design Principles" has basic tutorials in the design concepts of colors, how they work together with one another, and layout styles.
Cover your Music! (Fancy Players)
The "Application Skins" subsection applies only to Winamp skins, and is really more of a novelty design than anything else. It shows my ability to work with several different styles, while retaining the functionality of the program.
Now do this...
A very wise instructor once told me to never put anything on my resume or in my portfolio that I don't want prospective employers to know that I can do. As my desired field lies mainly with web design or photography, those are the areas of focus for this site. However, just to prove that I'm not completely one-sided, I've provided several small examples of graphic design work, ¡y también pruebo que puedo hablar español!
